Scott is the pastor at Peace Presbyterian Church, just down the road from Southway. I have had the privilege of his friendship for about 2 years, and my admiration and appreciation of Scott has grown over that time.
We have a few things in common (married, youth ministry background, zealous for our churches to be missional), and I have enjoyed getting to know Scott and his heart for our community.
It doesn’t hurt that he has a wicked sense of humor, and it really doesn’t hurt that he’s got his pulse on not only the church, but what is happening outside the church.
Scott, I’m glad we’re on the team together. Every Sunday as I’m driving to church, I pray for you; that our Lord would use you to strengthen His people. I appreciate your work for the Gospel.
